Path to Mastery and Partnership

Pros

I've worked in a lot of insurance defense firms (big and boutique). TM is the only place not afraid to innovate and try something new. TM is the only place ready to get its attorneys into the Courtroom and take depositions. TM is the only place that has real training (regardless of skill level). Working at TM, you will learn, be pushed professionally, and develop as an attorney. It is not a place for someone who simply wants a job. It is the ultimate place for a new attorney, spend three years at TM and you will become a lawyer. I was a lateral and it was good for me because I got trial experience and the transparent path to partnership was provided to me and honored.

Cons

It is a growing firm with some growing pains. It is also an innovative firm. There are some growing pains and sometimes the "new" ideas aren't the best ideas (but at least they are trying). It is also 100% insurance defense work.
