Pros

The hours are good and people are friendly

Cons

Boring, insufficient training, and sometimes felt not part of the team. Didn't feel prepared enough to do my job well half the time. Had to ask a lot of questions, that sometimes mgmt didn't know.

Pros

Great work/life balance, no major layoffs within the past few years, trustworthy and loyal executive management team, average benefits package.

Cons

Pay is significantly lower than other banking institutions. "Grass is greener on the other side" mentality regarding hiring decisions. No room for internal advancement. No training/development/intern program that ALL other fortune 500 companies have. Terrible facilities. Terrible middle level management. Too conservative for a bank.

Pros

This is a good area for someone who wants to be specialized in the field and to know the escrow product.

Cons

There are so much risk involved in the job but you don't feel like you are compensated for the job that you do.
