      Pros

      Great gateway into a financial job. I love the atmosphere and the feeling of working in a bank because of how professional it feels. A great job for young business majors. Very Flexible.

      Cons

      I see growth potential, but not much. Some of the products are nearly impossible to sell in this economy and the management will hold it against you if you cannot.

      Pros

      Tellers don't get fired for not meeting sales referral quotas (not at my branch, at least). Good work environment. Steady paycheck and pretty good benefits.

      Cons

      Overdraft fees are brutal. Pay is nothing to get excited about. A number of other employees (including my assistant manager) work second jobs.

      Pros

      When you're not pushing a product, it is actually rewarding to help a customer with a real need. Although not specific to USB, the peaople you meet can be the most rewarding.

      Cons

      Their in branch sales pushes (throughout all the districts) are a whirlwind of "do this or else" that employees tire of quickly. Push this product. Push that product. It would be a more rewarding place to work for if the emphasis wasn't on selling a product, but on providing the right product for a customer based on their needs, and not determined by the current months sales push.
