Pros

U.S. Bank is very stable and offers great development and career advancement opportunities. The employees get the very best account services for little to no charge.

Cons

It's quite easy to get lost in the shuffle of 60,000 employees. A lot was demanded of me, and more work was added on over time, with no pay increase. After two years I earned a $0.50 raise. Over half of the employees at my branch had part-time jobs in the evening to compensate for their meager wages.

Pros

Over all, I believe this is a good company to work for. My immediate supervisors, branch manager, and district managers are highly capable. Everyday I'm learning the importance of leadership, prioritization, and time management. Most of branch employees I encountered are professional, and customer service oriented.

Cons

I have been working for this company over 1 1/2 years, and picked up more responsibilities, but my base pay have not increased at all. I am dissatisfied to see that I'm paid the same wage that brand new employees are getting paid for. I don't believe that being a vault teller necessarily promise any fast career advancement. The only way to be recognized and be promoted is that you have to be very good at selling products.
