Pros

Lead them federal government in the detection new trends of narcotics and various weapons. Work with other agencies in competing the mission.

Cons

Have to stop work until other agencies are contacted. Homeland Security is subject to political funding and that causes issues. Other agencies pay one grade higher .

Pros

Good benefits, good fellow workers, you make a lot in overtime if you wish, not boring and not repetitive. It's a good way to set your foot in the doorstep to later put in for other federal agencies.

Cons

You might have to work on weekends and holidays. You might get dirty opening up cargo and inspecting it. The benefits are good but not as good as a state or county employment agency.
