Pros

Pay is good for Chattanooga

Cons

After ten years you are given 4 weeks paid vacation; the downside is you now have a target on your back and a reason for them to make you quit. If you have a disability, they will make life so hard on you, that you will eventually give up and quit.

Pros

The only pro in this company is that it is a job to hold you over till you can find something better

Cons

The pay is based off of predetermined miles and the number of stops. If your route mileage is under 200 miles you only make $80 plus $15 per stop. Example. from Henderson NC to Durham NC (1st stop) & Greensboro NC (2nd stop) Your total mileage calculated is 183 which equals $80 and two stops equal $30, your total trip is only worth $110. There is no guarantee that only will you get another load that day, but you may not have enough hours on your clock to run it. It is FORCED Dispatch with the only exception being how many hours you have on your 14 or remaining on your 70 for the week. Another Con is that on this account they are running a Mandatory 6th day every other week. The drivers who have been here for years have verified they have been running 6th day for over 2 years non-stop. Do not expect to come into this company and get weekends off. Your two days off will be in the middle of the week, such as a Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Wednesday. There lies from the recruiters draw you in with promises of sign-on bonuses, an once you start after orientation a large majority will not see the bonus with a lie saying you were originally supposed to be on another account and they switched you in mid process. Lies, as drivers we know what we applied for.......they are hoping you are desperate enough to keep going without them having to pay out your bonus you were originally promised. Last their communication is lacking of course, once you are hired that same company recruiter who blew your phone up during your time at orientation will not answer his phone for you, why, because the whole company has caller ID. They advertise that you are not just a number, and that they know your name by voice, it's a lie drivers, THEY HAVE CALLER ID on every company phone line you call in on. This company as the 4th largest in the nation in my opinion is the worse of all the companies out there, they are crooks, cons, liars and you must slave and have no home life or worse brown nose their dispatchers to make any real money.
