Pros

Good support staff and great benefits. Good time off and 401k.

Cons

Client Services Associates were expected to work with 5 plus Financial Advisors and their hundreds of clients each. Also, filled in at reception for breaks and their days off. With high net worth client's expecting you to be available to help at the same time. Unfortunately, the support staff was overstretched. Management do not protect or fight for the support staff even when a broker is abusive and they are aware of their behavior. Abusive FAs were just passed off on the next CSA when the CSA complained.

Ethically and Morally wrong. Ignore Fiduciary Responsibility

Pros

Work life balance, location, cleanliness

Cons

Lack of supervision of Financial Advisors, no accountability, sacrifice the clients to gain revenue, are not a fiduciary to the client, allow advisors to make excuses for churning and other activities that are ethically and morally unsound. No body will speak up for what is right for the client because they are afraid they will loose their job. Management is complacent and only dedicated to the bottom line. They don't hold true to the fiduciary duty of the clients they serve

Pros

Great people and great culture. I don’t ever think I’ll ever find a better group of people to work with when I move on. Great benefits and flexibility too. Working from home is an option for a day or two a week.

Cons

You won’t get promoted or receive a raise anytime soon. There’s very limited room for growth and when there are opportunities they often bring in someone from the outside. IF YOU WANT TO WORK HERE DO NOT SETTLE THINKING YOU WILL GET A RAISE!! ASK FOR SOMETHING YOU’LL BE COMFORTABLE LIVING ON FOR 3-4 YEARS. There is constant turnover at senior manager positions and absolutely no direction a lot of the time.
