Pros

The work itself is easy and not too stressful. No interview required.

Cons

I can't think of any cons really. It was a great experience overall.

It all depends on the department or division....

Pros

Beautiful Campus; Paradigm shift in leadership underway; Change Management is being introduced on campus; Diverse People and Culture. Many opportunities to get involved across the campus - outside of normal job duties. Great retirement packages. Campus culture is in the process of change (for the better).

Cons

Positional leadership has been the norm for many years. In the areas where the old leadership style is still active, it's a micro-managed, non-growth environment that squelches the staff. Some areas have extremely high turn-over: these are the areas of old positional leadership that is not growth oriented. Avoid these areas.
