      Pros

      The IT team I worked along side were excellent and knowledgeable. The benefits were excellent.

      Cons

      Extremely bureaucratic environment. Cronyism is rampant and I witnessed first person the hiring of an employee not based on dexterity but instead because of who they knew. Additionally the pay is far beyond that of the private industry but the expectations are just as high.

      Pros

      As a student office assistant and mentor we got paid which is rare unless you're a student working for Dining or other staff. Field trips with students were fun.

      Cons

      Head staff only care about stats, not nessisarily about student progress. Student staff can be clicky and loves not to thinm but to let others do thinking for them.

      Great experience for part time students. friendly and motivated team and working environment. great training program. caring supervisor

      Cons

      it is a position for ucr students only but they do provide you a extra quarter to work there after graduation
