Pros

Lots of opportunities for classes; pay is fair; professors treat teaching assistants with respect; quarter system makes lesson plans a breeze

Cons

most students are not committed to learning; departments give teaching assignments with no notice, often a weekend before teaching begins; too many instructors in each office; offices are in poor condition

Pros

easy access to most scientific journals and books. good research atmosphere and advanced facilities for research. Faculties here are also very helpful

Cons

The weather is dry. And it's really hot in the summer. Besides, it's away from major cities. Sometimes it's hard to find some place to eat
