Pros

great work environment, good hours, friendly coworkers, awesome boss, students always friendly, scheduling does not conflict with class scheduling

Cons

parking is way too far from the actual campus, always have to plan at least a 15 min. walk to work site unless you pay over $100 for a parking permit, summers are miserable walking to and from work!

Pros

Teaching assistant-ship pays for tuition and most fees, if you have 25% appointment or above (10 hrs per week). If you are over 25% the benefits are very good. If less, then it's an average part-time job for a grad student (time that might be better utilized finishing your degree quicker).

Cons

Facilities are not well-maintained. Learning labs (computer lab, mechatronics lab, machine shop) are a mess.
