Pros

best benefits compare to other governmental agencies, relatively stable job, flexible hours, lots of paid vacations, great human resource department, lots of training opportunities

Cons

not the best location, very difficult to move up in rank, sometimes difficult to work with faculty, experience are not easy to be transferred to different fields

will earn money for your study during your phd or ms study. If in CS, your life will be great and all professors are nice.

Cons

CS is a small department in Riverside, so you may not work in the area you are really interested in.

Pros

good learning experience and training. Possiblity for growth and promotion; good benefits. Location is close to my residence, so doesn't have to deal with traffic.

Cons

salary is low and not compatible with outside salaries.
