Pros

Earned my degree without going into debt. Had full tuition covered, good benefits, and a meager but livable salary.

Cons

Grossly overworked, but then again I was a graduate student. My adviser was also not very helpful in terms of my research.

Pros

It is university, so I'm free, I'm still half student half employee. I can manage my times, work from home.

Cons

UC Riverside is not a well known university. So you will need extra efforts to compete with top schools in the country.

Pros

The Extension Center is a non-profit organization, but has had great success in limiting the economic impact in the recent months. The employees typically support eachothers success and job satisfaction. It is a good stepping stone based job to gather knowledge and experience for launching a career.

Cons

Salaries of employees at the Extension Center are lesser than that of comparable positions on the main campus.
