      Good benefit in retirement, vacation and sick leave with a support working environment.

      Cons

      low salary, with very little or no rise for years. It was hard to move up to the next level.

      Pros

      Benefits are great, lots of paid time off, UCR is part of one of largest and most prestigious university systems in the nation. It's beautiful campus and coworkers are great.

      Cons

      Management in this particular department is non-efficient. Not much opportunity to advance (people who ask about moving up are are told to take another job somewhere else.) Nothing exciting is coming out of the unit -- it's always status quo with no out of the box ideas. Personally, I will never go back to work here.
