Stay away

Pros

Holidays paid for, good benefits

Cons

Stay away from this department if you want to have any type of work, life balance managers don’t care about this either because they are so burnt out and have such depressed looks on their faces by how much work they have to do. This is the reason why nobody in the department wants to become part of the leadership team because of how stressed out they always are. as an outpatient pharmacist we are being pulled into so many directions and I definitely don’t recommend coming here unless you want to be someone with zero work life balance

Pros

So many positives. Pay was amazing. Patient ratios are great (usually 6 patients for 1 CNA during dayshift and 8 patients during night shift). Hour long break, sometimes longer. Teaching hospital was a great environment and everyone was friendly. At the Westwood locations kids are often there long term and you get to know the families. I had to leave because I moved away but I highly recommend. Also there is no clocking in and out, everyone just gets paid 7-7 (with the exception of emergency department).

Cons

Parking situation was awful, not free.
