Pros

There are so many reasons to work for SEASlab. If you are on work study, there are very few jobs that will be better. At SEASlab, you will be assigned your shift based on your available hours, and this is good for five weeks at a time. There are also many oppurtunities to pick up available shifts since coworkers might have unanticipated class meeting or study to attend to. The management do not mind if you study your homework while on the job as long as you perform your job duties first. You can work as little as two hours per shift if that is all you are available for that day.

Cons

There are not enough hours since the staff size is very large. The hours to be worked are determined and set for five weeks at a time and cannot be changed. However, there are many opportunities to pick up and cover coworkers' shifts. The night hour shift is set at six hour block from 8pm to closing. But the work is not difficult and work students have plenty of time to do study or do their homework on the job. The management do not mind this as long as the work duties are performed first without any negligence. So, there are not that many downsides.
