      I work with great front-line staff, but administrators are out of touch and frustrate the mission.

      Pros

      The benefits are great, the staff are passionate about what we do - there's a sense of pride in being among the top here.

      Cons

      Not enough staff, the administrators make decisions - about staffing, especially - that reflect that they have been out of clinical practice for too long and have become overly concerned with short-term profit goals. Clinical care suffers because of it, which hurts patients and our reputation. Pay and other things, like parking and seniority, are not as good as most other places, like Kaiser.

      Pros

      It really depends on which department you work for but employees are generally content with working conditions...

      Cons

      ...however with the changes to the benefits changing, people are leaving if they don't have much time invested. Pay is lower compared to most comparable institutions and while the benefits were always touted as being the best, these are deteriorating.

      great academic environment amazing, dedicated medical staff good pay conveniently located public transportation meet a lot of people in various professions

      Cons

      a ridiculously huge bureacracy managers receive no training in how to be a manager. People are promoted simply because of seniority not Skills
