      Good work/life balance. Very Flexible. Friendly co-workers some who are great mentors

      Pros

      Great work/life balance. As a consultant I worked from home, traveled about 50-60% of the time. If I could not travel on a specific day for personal reasons, I was usually able to work it out with my project manager or director. The company is an industry leader in the Workforce Management software industry. The people I worked with were great, from my manager's manager all the way to the individuals I worked with on a daily basis.

      Cons

      Lack of a clearly defined career path. Compensation could be better (maybe it was because I had been there so long) but when I left Kronos I received a 25% salary increase for a similar position at another company.

      Pros

      Great opportunity to leverage the company's dominant market position if you sell into the manufacturing space. Great product marketing

      Cons

      Some verticals are not very lucrative. Poor lead generation. Too many layers of management. Insensitivity to the challenges of selling the product if you're not in the desirable mfg. vertical.

      Pros

      Some very good coworkers. A good product with a great brand and lots of excellent references. Premium priced so you have to sell value but very reasonable.

      Cons

      There are a couple of decent territories and all the others are a revolving door. Management has their favourites in the two plum jobs and the other positions are very low probability affairs. Almost as many managers as employees and very much an us/them atmosphere.
