Pros

Friendly intelligent colleagues, little company mentality with desire to grow, very flexible environment. Everyone wants to be successful and contribute their share.

Cons

Management decisions seemd arbitrary, lack of opportunity for professional growth because focus is solely on delivery and revenue, many times at the cost of product quality and personnel.

Pros

Tremendous mission - Public Safety. Great training opportunities at all levels, especially leadership. Great people who are highly dedicated to doing their jobs and making the world a safer place. Very flexible work environment.

Cons

Politics and bureaucracy have increased extensively during the current CEO's tenure. Leadership issues at the very top and the CEO moves very slowly to deal with them. One senior leader in particular is in his third role, has never communicated what he was going to do, and has never accomplished anything in any of the roles except for getting the opportunity to move to another role. Very dysfunctional and a concerning lack of accountability.

Pros

Good engineers who have a mindset to help people. Nice cafeteria food.

Cons

Junior management does not back up staff on decisions. Senior management has been destroying the company and the mission by promoting laziness, bad behavior, poor performance, and chasing clients away. Half of the executive staff including the president are not even there for most of the year. Where are they? They don't even come down from the 3rd floor to talk to people. Standards are written poorly and vaguely, thus the competitors end up taking advantages of any loopholes. PDEs take too long to act on critical decisions. Overpaid executives and managers grow the overhead to astronomical proportions. This makes it impossible to compete with other companies.
