Cons
The med-surgical floors here are constantly overwhelmed. Management enforces strict cost-saving protocols at the expense of both nurses and patients. CNAs are often unavailable, leaving nurses to handle the workload of 5–6 patients entirely on their own. This creates an unsafe environment for staff and compromises quality of care. Leadership, particularly under 4-West, shows little concern for frontline staff well-being. The focus seems to be on meeting budget goals and securing bonuses rather than supporting nurses or ensuring safe staffing. If you are considering working here, be prepared for heavy workloads with minimal support and management that prioritizes savings over people.
