Pros

County retirement and benefits. Most of the people here have become good friends.

Cons

Slowly taking away the benefits and longevity. Both Union and nonUnion environment and if you're nonUnion you still have to go by the Union contract. Union has done nothing for the employee's.

Nice people, lots of opportunity to advance, offer great benefits for fulltime employees, many internal positions if can get your foot in the door

Cons

Only per diem, no benefits, no real con's as of right now.........

The nurses can make out their own schedule as long as there is sufficient coverage. Friendly and supportive management.

Cons

Distribution of assignments are not based on patient acuity. One nurse may have 3 lower level patients and one might have 3 higher level. Same amount of time but a lot more demands of the higher level.
