Pros
UML is a very diverse place and it has been growing rapidly in the past few years. The people that work here are wonderful and helpful. The students are smart and engaged. There are multiple construction projects that are currently going on, new academic centers as well as dormitories. Some of the older buildings are being renovated as well, it is really turning into a beautiful campus.
Cons
Although it is a University, it loses a little bit of that traditional University feel as the campus is split up across the city of Lowell. Another con about being in the city is the parking situation. It has improved with the addition of a new parking garage and they are building another one as well which should help with some of the parking issues. Again, it is a city so these things should be expected.
