Pros

The work environment at UNDP is casual and for the most part, friendly. You will have as much responsibility as you can handle if you prove yourself capable and look for opportunity.

Cons

Low morale and unclear expectations make it difficult to understand what is required of employees. Unqualified consultants. Poor communication. Bored employees. Lack of creativity. Very political.

Pros

Working with staff of diverse race, religion, language, cultural background, etc. is a rewarding experience.

Cons

I went along fine with all the staff, and I accomplished all my assigned tasks and responsibilities, so I met the highest expectations of my supervisors. I was a success!

Pros

Great mission. I was responsible to promote a peace-building forum in Brazil as well as write policy insights on the blog of the forum.

Cons

Online volunteering has its cons. One cons was the difficulties to receive clear coordinated tasks.
