Pros

Decent Money, Plenty of work

Cons

dirty old equipment, Management abuses their positions to mandate what they can hold over your head. They retaliate against you if you don't voluntarily cover a route by reducing your next weeks hours. HR is abusive and questions your character and believes everyone is going to be a liar. There is No pay roll department only automated and controlled by your acting supervisor or manager.

Pros

I was allowed to work remotely

Cons

This company profited during the pandemic, perform stock buyback, and then horribly mismanaged a technology overhaul. Subsequently, they had to go through a round of layoffs where they outsourced many of their system responsibilities. As a result they had some recent difficulties with their main customer – whole foods. You may have seen where the shelves were empty… I was laid off and the severance package that I received was pathetic. They also did questionable things like offering “unlimited PTO“… Anyone who is in the industry will know that these companies book the statistics and understand that when people are offered unlimited PTO it’s quite typical that most people underutilise this option versus having earned PTO
