Pros

If you work in a remote area such as Boise and there are not many other opportunities. Sorry about that..

Cons

There is a mentality within the company where all employees are treated like dirt. This is similar to the mentality of a store manager when you had your first stock or cashier job at age 16. Management also sells out its best, highest potential workers in place of indian labor that can barely communicate. There is such pressure to bring on off-shore people that managers are just taking on headcount to say they are making progress in the transition before the imminent layoff "waves" that are taking place on a recurring schedule.

Pros

I was allowed to work remotely

Cons

This company profited during the pandemic, perform stock buyback, and then horribly mismanaged a technology overhaul. Subsequently, they had to go through a round of layoffs where they outsourced many of their system responsibilities. As a result they had some recent difficulties with their main customer – whole foods. You may have seen where the shelves were empty… I was laid off and the severance package that I received was pathetic. They also did questionable things like offering “unlimited PTO“… Anyone who is in the industry will know that these companies book the statistics and understand that when people are offered unlimited PTO it’s quite typical that most people underutilise this option versus having earned PTO

Pros

There are no pros from my experience

Cons

The culture is extremely toxic and unwelcoming. HR consistently disregards concerns brought forward by employees and appears to prioritize the interests of contractors/consultants over full-time associates. Rather than addressing issues transparently, the environment encourages exclusion and subtle retaliation—such as biased performance reviews or unwarranted PIPs—to push out those who don’t “fit in.”
