Pros
- The lab is beautiful and the analytical instruments are well maintained. - I found managing a project from start to finish very fulfilling.
Cons
- Very depressing, stressful, and toxic work environment due to poor team management. - Almost 0 possibility to move up in the company. - A global company that seems to get bought out every other year, so communication to other teams is terrible. Getting the information or even products needed to simply begin planning a study is a huge challenge. - HR is based in the USA, and has no knowledge of Canadian laws. They also just don't seem to care about the people at the Guelph facility. - Projects get very repetitive.
