The processes are bureaucractic, office politics are frequent, there's not much fresh blood in the organisation and strikes are frequent

Room for growth in a shrinking market

Business Outlook

Pros

Great benefits, competitive salary. Hard work and initiative are noticed and rewarded. While the paper industry is shrinking the company has broadened its product scope to include bio energy. With paper manufacturing being the foundation of these new segments, it ensures a long term presence in the paper market.

Cons

Headquarters located in Finland. Some disconnect in Global processes - The US market is not the European markent and one process does not fit all.

Pros

Benefits, flexibility, family-work balance, driven motivated people.

Cons

Finish company trying to do business elsewhere not always flexible, and open minded at acting locally. Top company management and top business unit management is almost purely Finish.
