Pros

As long as you stay an hourly employee, UPS is the best job in the world.

Cons

Work very hard in outside temps.

Pros

Health benefits even for part time employees. Also paid vacations and a great retirement package. Keeps you energetic and in shape because you are always moving. Driving days go by fast because you are working against the clock at all times, not staring at it. Also you are in the union.

Cons

The main thing is you really have to be committed if you want to get full time. At my center, it takes right around ten years just to get full time! Every thing is by seniority due to the union, so sometimes the wrong people win the job that you surely are more qualified to do. So, a pro and a con-you're in the union.

Pros

100% full time benefits for part time work. you are not going to find that anywhere else. Tuition reimbursement was a little weak, but I'll take free money any day.

Cons

Not very much pity for your personal life and management was more worried about themselves and numbers rather than the overall moral among employees. It starts with the employees.
