Pros

UPS has great benefits from the day you start working with the company even as a part-time worker you receive good heath and insurance benefits.

Cons

The only downside that I can see is the amount of overtime that I receive. Sometimes I want to make it to different functions but I can't really plan anything because the day to day delivery is never the same and you never know what other factors may come into play in the course of a regular work day.

Pros

The company pays management well compared to other transportation industries, although that's probably due to the wages the union drivers earn. Time off usually isn't an issue and most employees at the front line get along well.

Cons

The company is controlled by industrial engineers that can't function at the front line or manage people. Generally when the engineers are placed in operations they fail miserably, yet these people control how the business is run. Also, promotions are curious. It seems unclear how some higher ups got to that level.
