Pros

There's a good benefits package, and if you're interested in the company they'll be interested in you. They're very organized.

Cons

Working with unions is alienating because you're always the enemy. Being a part time manager means that you've got all the responsibility and none of the power.

Awful job. Poor management. Lack of communication. Long Timers would do nothing while New Comers to take on all physical work. Yelled at a lot

Appalled at corporate employee expense account spending, booze, good 'ole boy system, excessive franchisee royalty fees.

Pros

The benefits are great and if you want an expense account, you've got it. (I am speaking of The UPS Store corporate organization.)

Cons

UPS Store Franchise double charges their franchisees and even competes against them. The franchise corporate structure is way, way over staffed for what they do; they could cut their staff in half and give the franchisees a break. The UPS Store Franchise Corporate employees spend way too much money on frivolous expenditures, silly training sessions all for an excuse to party on the backs of the franchisees.
