Pros

Good industry experience, enough chaos to learn to organize, good way to network if in a sales role. Some great people working hard.

Cons

Most Management is just waiting to retire, training is rare and difficult to solicit, culture is ten years behind industry trends.

Pros

A good, well established company. Great ethical principals of how business is ran. People are treated with respect.

Cons

UPS uses something called MAPP process in order to promote people into managment. One must pass a special training course before being eligible for promotion. Also, being in the pool of holders of MAPP does not guarantee your future promotion. (You can be in it for 10-15 years) There are reasons for this, but it does limit the speed at which you can climb the corporate leader.
