Pros
Loved working here during my college days. Great benefits. Took care of me. I loved the work. Using your hands. I was a small 5'5" 18 year old kid about 125 pounds. But I promise you I can outwork anybody 2-3x my size and I loved it. I worked 2x as fast as the next guy. When I left, 2 of the managers told me they don't know how they are gonna get the trailers unloaded on time now.
Cons
Cons kinda goes with the pros. The union allowed us to have great benefits but created lazy guys. You can't just fire a guy cuz the Union wouldn't allow it. I remember a couple guys telling me to slow down. Said it made them look bad for one and also it didn't matter if I worked harder cuz I would just get paid the same as them anyways. I hated that laziness.
