Pros

Benefits! Travel. Deployment pay. Experience. Discipline. Sense of self-worth. Learn respect. Not in the mud with the other branches of the military.

Cons

Deployment schedule. Bureaucracy. Chain of command. Inefficiencies. Pay isn't that great. Not vary family oriented, but that's in the military in general: the mission comes first. Respect should be earned and not automatic.
