They pay for your education, you meet some awesome people, good work travel opportunities, see the world.

Cons

The job loses necessary continuity when people move around so much. I've lost a lot of respect and confidence in my AF leadership as it seems like promotions are based on nepotism and not meritocracy. Too much politics involved the higher you move up.
