      Pros

      Job security / low stress environment. Pension and retirement plan. Working on technology that will directly benefit the warfighter. Interesting travel opportunities.

      Cons

      Bureaucracy. Getting projects moving can feel like it takes an act of congress. A lot of the actual design work is contracted out. We are not really incentiveized to save money, only to spend money as quickly as possible.
