Pros

Training room for advancement you don't get to this every day

Cons

Draconian thougth process sluggish structure painful if you are unconventional In intel you get people who just show up and some that really work hard. Infantry guys will never believe a word you say, even if its right. Long hours, poor pay and nothing you can really do about it. You can be controlled in all elements

Pros

The Army like the old motto said, is a great place to s tart. You can earn a college degree and save money if you are smart.

Cons

The downside is that bad leadership can ruin an otherwise good assignment and back to back deployments to combat zones can burn out even the most motivated soldiers.
