Benefits are great and everyone tries to work together but it all depends. Good retirement plan and there are some good people there.

Not being able to have others to count on when you are in danger for if you truly need help.

Pros

Travel oppportunities are limitless. Education is free. Work experience is unmatched anywhere, both technical and management. Most importantly, the reason and the purpose of the work is people's lives, as opposed to a profit margin.

Cons

Balance between work and life can be a challenge. Working hours can be extreme. At entry level, this is not a problem. As you get older, it can become either a real drag, or a way of life which can impact family life.
