Pros

Leadership training; ability to see the world. Great health care benefits and provides an allowance for housing that will allow you to live in good places

Cons

poor use of individual's time; unable to make decisions without multiple layers of approval. You don't have much control over where you will go or what you will do.

Pros

Great opportunity for service. Grat sense of community and comeradie. The people and the purposenare what make it all worth while.

Cons

Service always come first and your family must commtt to sacrifice too. Like any large organization it is bureacratic and cumbersome, in some places status quo outweighs innovation.
