Pros

Great benefits, excellent retirement, and outstanding pay when overseas. There are opportunities to get excellent training and to develop your leadership skills.

Cons

Very little time for family and high paced. Promotions are based on length of time in service and not on accomplishments. Tends to reward people who do not do well. Frustrating to be led by supervisors who do not know how to lead.

Pros

-benefits ar excellent -vacation time is plentiful -training is great -decent pay. great pay for kids with no experience and average highschool performance

Cons

commanders dictate the unit's "corporate culture" for good or bad. no quitting deployments can destroy marriages. i feel that those marriages were destined to fail anyway adn deployment simply served as a catalyst
