Management does not work. Employees could probably do whatever they wanted and still get paid.

It's a great Job if you prefer driving and talking with people

Pros

They pay is good and they also pay for mileage. Range is usually. 50-.70 cents per mile. You are performing a critical service for your country and the data you collect is used for countless purposes.

Cons

The decinial Census is usually the only time it's fairly easy to get hired. Unfortunately it only last 6-8 months but you can make a lot of money in that time. It's a fairly difficult to get full time employment with the Bureau. Just be persistent.
