Pros

Fast paced very exciting job.

Cons

No overtime legally allowed, but average work week for all Assistant Managers was in the 50 to 60 hour a week range. During the hiring stage and training stage of operations for thousands of enumerators the average work week was well over 60 to 70 hours a week. If you asked for overtime pay it was immediate termination. Temp. position, no benefits.

Pros

The pay and training was excellent. I was privileged to have a very supportive team leader and supervisor.

Cons

Some areas assigned can be rough to door-knock or even access. Weather conditions in Arizona even in March/April are hot and dry. Some of the residents can be suspicious of government employees and behave aggressively.

Pros

High paying for the kind of work you do. The hours are pretty flexible and short.

Cons

May have to work a graveyard shift or two. Had to get into teams of 3 or 4 to survey the homeless, so some areas may be a little sketchy.
