      Pros

      Good to experience working for the Federal Government. It's enlightening to talk to strangers in your part of town. You get the full spectrum of humanity, the good, the bad, etc...

      Cons

      It is more difficult than you think to continue ones job search even though you are working part time for the Census.

      Money and flexibility are great perks that come with this job especially for a student or someone in between jobs.

      The job can get somewhat stressful especially when rushing to meet deadlines.

      Good pay and work hours though it is unfortunate that the position is usually limited to temporary employment with little chance of being kept.

      Cons

      Interviewing cases can lead to angry responses. Must have thick skin to deal with people who would rather not answer the questions asked.
