Pros

Stable, easy ish work. If you like secretarial work and get enjoyment out of filing papers, this would be ideal for you.

Cons

You will pull your hair out. These county offices are chronically understaffed and the work is endless bureaucratic red tape and obsession over pointless detail. It is boring and the work is never ending. State office and higher up past your county office don't care about you and are also just cogs in the machine.
