Toxic Bully Managers

Business Outlook

Pros

The work is interesting and the mission is good.

Cons

Pervasive toxicity and bullying, especially by the managers. They know you can't do anything and that the establishment will protect them. They reward gossips, busybodies and suck-ups. They lack boundaries with their employees. They discriminate. On more than one occasion I have heard negative, discriminatory remarks or attitudes. This is a horrid environment. Managers isolate an employee they decide to target and then turn the rest of their peers against them or make others so terrified no one will come forward for fear of retaliation. The victims change up from time to time, so you never know when it will be you. Managers threaten employees with negative actions so they don't complain. Run. Run very far from this place and if you get lured in by them absolutely 100% do NOT trust anyone.
