Pros

Money, union, no weekends, Early mornings, vacations/floats/sick days with seniority

Cons

No one truly cares, long days 11-14 hour days, overnights if your new, no communication between management to driver, management takes things personal, a lot of digging, horrible mapping, running down a ramp with a two wheeler, bumping stairs, tight parking lots and tight backing up, not a place for the weak hearted, always shorted handed due to management and their choices & it’s a dog eat dog job no such thing as a brotherhood in this union house.

Pros

okay work hours fun contests and trips fair compensation technology

Cons

If you're not one of the bosses' favorites your time is limited. No matter how well you do, even if you win national awards, your job is not safe if the local execs don't want you. Especially of they can carve up your territory and bring up new or under-performing reps. Additionally the entire operation at the division level is screwed up. A revolving door of Ops and Trans Dept heads, drivers. This means late deliveries, mispicks, out of stocks, and even delivering product that has already expired. Internal departments can't or won't work together, or with sales people in the field. Sales management likes to ask you to focus on "just a couple of things". Then they give you a list of 12-15 things that need to be fixed ASAP. No appreciation for the day-to-day efforts (and what it takes to succeed at the inefficient division).
