Pros

Good money, Sundays off, great coworkers, easy but physical work, health benefits are great if you stay long enough to get them.

Cons

Being a contractor means you will cover everyone's shifts. The career employees get a ton of vacation and sick time. Guess who works in their place? You get around 10-12 paid vacation days. You won't get to use them though. Fortunately, you get paid for them at the end of your one year term when they decide whether or not to bring you back. Oh? Yeah...it's "temporary" with no guarantee of hours, but I've never worked less than 30. On average I work around 38-52 hours a week. Also, your shifts will probably be split/swing shifts. Meaning you'll work at around 4 or 5 am until 9 or 10 am and then come back around 2 or 3 pm until 6 or 7 pm. Good luck with your insomnia. Might as well start sleeping 5 or 6 hours a night now if you're interviewing for this job.
