Pros

Ample overtime opportunity for those that want to put in the hours. Compared to private sector, the premiums for benefits are very low!

Cons

Work life balance is hard to come by. Growth opportunities are luck of the draw. The organization's personnel system makes it hard to make career moves if you are so inclined.
