Good starting pay, supervisors were nice.

Cons

Boerne office was a complete mess, no organization and utter chaos. Take a trip to a San Antonio office and its neat and clean. Everything is clearly marked where things are supposed to go. Additionally, when you are first hired you don't get all the benefits the post office offers. (dental / medical / retirement) until you become a regular.......and that can take 2 - 3 years to happen. Also you cannot move to another position until you become a regular employee. Again that's 2 - 3 years. Employees are over worked due to volume of mail and Amazon deliveries.

Learn the in's and out's of how the mail is really processed, learn how to operate the mail truck, ;earn how to drive and park safely and learn how to sort the mail properly.

Cons

Hostel work environment, no one to turn to to assist you when you are being targeted at work, very stressful work environment and safety is at low priority in certain locations.
