Pros

Super fast-paced environment with plenty of growth opportunities. Smart hard workers can stand out easily. Diverse international community. Great travel opportunities.

Cons

Possibly the most complex contract structures ever contrived by the DoD. Unifying all F-35 buyers into contracts captures economies of scale savings, but creates a collection of excessively convoluted and difficult to manage contract vehicles. Budgetary tracking and allocations are a challenge and personal accountability is easily lost in the fray.
