      Decent base salary to start

      Cons

      Leadership, training, development are all non existent. Sales meetings and training are equivalent for door to door cable and roofing salesmen. Everything they tell you in the interview process is a lie. You don’t have 4 years, more like 12 months before you’re put on a PIP. Employee benefits for an insurance company are horrible. Practice leaders don’t have the skill set to develop new producers. Very little diversity in the company. Everyone looks the same on group webex calls.

The systems they have implemented are designed to support each person's personal development, providing a clear guide to success. I have found a home for the remainder of my career at USI Insurance. The company's commitment to its employees' growth and success is unparalleled, and I am grateful to be part of such a supportive and forward-thinking organization.

      Cons

      It is a tough job with the success of a producer based solely on results, making it very competitive. This can mean long hours and lots of work. If you are not a hard worker and independent, looking to get better, a producer role is not for you.
